Yesterday Duke told me I was beautiful. He doesn't usually pay me compliments of such magnitude. Usually just says things like, "I like your earrings" or "You are such a good listener."
But today he melted my heart.
Too bad it was short lived when only 3 hours later he screamed at me across the target isle
"YOU ARE NOT BEAUTIFUL ANYMORE!"
when I wouldn't let him buy a toy.
Oh well. It was nice while it lasted.
